The fine line of conduct ...
I've heard it said that happiness is a state of mind, in fact I even said it a couple of times. It makes me wonder though, what influences that state? Emotion? Environment? Situations that you find yourself in? Conscience?
As mindful as we can be at any given moment, some of us try to live our lives within the confines of acceptable sociable behaviour, trying to delicately balance the forces of self-pleasure and satisfaction without imposing on anyone's comfort zone.
But where does FREEEDOM start and COMPROMISE end?
I've known C for almost eight years and we've lived together for almost six. Granted I've had a few other "serious" termed relationships prior to, one being marriage. It's been very comfortable to say the least and we've managed to maintain a balance of 'self' as much as one can given the environment of a relationship.
However ....
Temptations are all around and the only temptation that can ever really threaten the value I place on my relationship with C is the temptation of 'simply being me.'
A cop out? I am not sure. Perhaps, perhaps not.
When does the "Me" stop being ME?
How can "ME" continue to grow and learn and SEE and FEEL if I cannot even allow myself to ENGAGE in experiences that my Soul brings me to, without hurting the people I care about.
Perceptions.
If I perceive in one way .. and another perceives another way .. who's perception is RIGHT? Both?
The Beauty of a SOUL is also expressed thru another, by another, with another. It may be only for a moment, a week, a few months. And when the courtship ends .. we all shine brighter then move on .....

You create. We create. Together are WE.
I've been taking in snippits of news from around the world and I've come to a conclusion.
There are a lot of people that do not want to be happy.
It is almost as if, we find reasons for things to argue about. We cannot simply let things just BE.
We create intangible borders within the societies that we live in, to further our separation from one another.
Borders that originate from our ignorance or laziness to participate in our own humanity.
We set up obstacles in our psyche that prevents us from BEING FREE.
We cannot simply celebrate the beauty in the fabric of our differences and see them as complements to our existence.
We will our minds to continue fabricating the power of individuality instead of embracing our uniqueness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Happy Hanukkah! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! A Pleasant December!
In whatever way you all choose to celebrate upcoming December events, I wish you all PEACE.
The Equation of : Transitioning into what can be
 Changing one's mode of perception is truly a process like no other. The delicate balance of learning to let go of any impulsive nature and yet, listening to an instinctual nature. It's often difficult to distinguish one from the other. I wonder how much of our heart intent is manifested towards act intent, and how much of pure mind desire is factored into the equation. DF's Change of Perception Equation: Heart Intent (HI) + Act Intent (AI)/Mind Desire (MD) = Destiny (D)/Reality (R)
